Sally Johnson, a court-ordered psychiatrist back in 1998, highlighted Kaczynski’s “sexual identity problems”. It turns out that Kaczynski, a genius-level man convicted of multiple murders, had intense sexual fantasies about being a woman and even sought a sex-change operation as a graduate student at the University of Michigan in 1967.

However, a crisis in the waiting room led him to abandon his quest, sparking rage primarily against psychiatrists that led him down a path of violence.
