giddiup ...horse for courses not for the dinner table

 I  happened to be reading TIME magazine and  was reading a very interesting article of horse meat.......

Well i  do not get it   is  there  a    shortage  of cows or what ,I don't understand how anyone can eat a horse ,as i am a vegetarian i  cannot get  by the texture of  meat alone i think,it disgusting ....

Although i  do not push my beliefs on to anyone  its their  god given  right to  eat meat ,i just  do not get the horse thing though.....

Maybe i cannot see  dobbin..... or mister wiggles ..... or  harry light foot....or  sand bolt....being chopped  on plate served with french fries  or boiled potatoes and asparagus shoots in  a reduced red wine  sauce with  horse radish on the side ,seems strange to horse radish with horse steak.

still  i guess its  better than  monkey brains  don't get  why anyone  gets a kick out of eating strange  shit like  Andrew  Zimmerman  that  guy  must blow out some  bathrooms in his  career .

well apparently  horse meat  is  two thirds cheaper than cow  steak is things gotten so bad  people  are doing in horses because they are two thirds cheaper than cows .

are cows worth more than horses dead or alive  ,because i watch the Kentucky's derby and i cannot see daisy  fetching big money for its  semen,although i have  heard  rodeo bull semen is  worth a lot of  money ..

I was wondering this  because i  live in amidst an equestrian community i there is  nothing i see in the horse  business as  cheap either to feed or  get them  shod  ,and if i am correct in thinking women with horses  are very attached  to those  big fellas  and such....

Of course in Europe the french have strange gastronomic tendencies  ,but surely they cannot be old beat up horses  so they are chewing up  decent horses  with  maybe  a future'

Are they killing horses  that  may be the next derby sensation  ....

Well i guess no one will ever  now  if the horse  might have been the next sea biscuit  because its already killed  cut up and grilled and served and shat out into the pan.......

Weird when you think about how such a really fine specimen can be running around  a field in the blazing sun ..the the end result its just a brown lump in the toilet bowel   ,give or take  a few  niblets of corn and some carrots of course ........?
