‘The Howard Stern Show’ Host Gets Let Go After 16 Years Amid Mass Layoffs: ‘What a Ride’
A longtime employee has been let go from The Howard Stern Show, as the Sirius XM show shifts to one show a week.
Last week, host and senior producer Rashaan Rogers took to LinkedIn, revealing that he will no longer be working on the program.

"After 16 incredible years with The Howard Stern Show and the Howard Stern Channels, I'm opening a new chapter," Rogers posted on the platform. "Some career highlights I'm proud of: hosting The Howard Stern Wrap-Up Show, serving as solo host of Sternthology Live, hosting multiple seasons of Summer School, and producing specials built from 40+ years of Stern Show archives."
"I got to interview people I grew up admiring, direct live broadcasts in real time, and mentor some seriously talented producers along the way," he continued. "Working inside the most successful franchise in talk radio taught me how great shows actually get made: preparation, instinct, and knowing what the audience wants before they do."
Rogers said he's looking for work and concluded his post by writing, "To everyone I worked with over these 16 years: thank you. What a ride."

As Globe previously reported, on Monday, July 13, half a dozen staffers were let go and informed Howard Stern would do just one show a week when he gets back from his summer break, according to Page Six.
A source told the outlet that the 72-year-old broadcaster "just doesn't need that much content anymore," and is only keeping a core team of longtime producers.
