Worry: Worry is the opposite process of thinking.
Nervous doubt: Don’t confuse worry with concern. Concern
would indicate that you are considering possible consequences
with an intention of making a deliberate, intelligent choice.
Worry has no rationale. It is fear of the future and also the
unknown. Worry presumes that we are frail, defective,
defenseless and alone. (We were not created that way!)
It is often guilt-based. Fear of the future, based upon unsatisfactory
past results, inadequacy, or lack of self-esteem is the basis
for worry. Worry dissipates when we have a plan, hope and trust.
A plan constitutes an expectation of greater possibilities. We must
abandon fears about the future and past, establish ourselves firmly
in the here and now and move forward, moment by moment, with
a joyous sense of confidence, hope and expectancy.
Miracles await us! We can go forward and claim them. Taking
positive forward steps redeems us from the immobility of fear,
doubt and worry.
