Nearly a year after wildfires ravaged parts of Los Angeles, the 38-year-old actress, known for playing Lily Adams in several AT&T commercials, shared that she's raising money to help those affected by releasing "something a little flirty."
“I had this full-on crazy idea for an experiment,” Vayntrub wrote over a risqué photo of herself on Instagram on Dec. 9. “After the L.A. fires this year, I saw that what people really needed was some cash. So I wondered if you and me could try something ridiculous & team up to help the people affected.”
The actress went on to explain that in exchange for donations to a single mom’s GoFundMe, she began to offer exclusive and sexy photos of herself, and as a result, she raised $170,000 in just four days.

Alongside a photo of the single mom and her baby, Vayntrub continued, “Because of you, Bridget replaced medical equipment, clothing, her car, and secured a full year of housing which allowed for her disabled son to resume in-home medical care."
"Your support allowed her and her kids to regain stability and dignity during a time of crisis," she added.

Bridget said, acording to Vayntrub, that it “wasn’t just about the money," but it was the “first time in a long time” that she felt seen and cared for.

After changing the lives of one family, Vayntrub decided to keep the momentum going and partnered with My Tribe Rise.
In just one week, she raised $350,000 for the Altadena-based organization that is dedicated to “helping elderly, disabled, and under-insured survivors rebuild their lives.”

“They took your generosity and turned it into direct grants for fire survivors,” Vayntrub explained on Instagram, sharing photos of the recipients receiving their checks.
“Real money. Real impact. Right where it makes the biggest difference," she added. "This is the best thing I’ve ever been part of. Thank you. Truly.”
Vayntrub then asked her followers what charitable causes she should support next through her online fundraising platform, Only Philanthropy.
“We’ve raised over half a million dollars together this year. Now let’s grow this into something bigger, stranger, more powerful, with more creators jumping in,” Vayntrub wrote in her post's caption.

According to its website, Only Philanthropy uses a tier payment system, with each of its nine donation levels “getting flirtier."
A $1,000 donation will even get the first 50 donors a signed Polaroid from Vayntrub’s shoot.
