Plastic surgeons reveal the REAL reason so many Hollywood stars get b........ad cosmetic work done
- Many celebrities have debuted new looks which have left them unrecognizable
 - The Daily Mail spoke to top plastic surgeons to find out why
 - More, All the celebrities who have reversed their plastic surgery

Celebrities often receive stunning, ultra-expensive tweakments that are unnoticeable to mere mortals... but lately, fans have been calling out their favorite stars for getting far more prominent work done.
Whether it's Emma Stone's striking new look or Tom Cruise debuting a seemingly changed visage, people have been flocking to social media to comment on so many stars' apparent fresh faces... and they are unimpressed.
After all, these stars have access to the best plastic surgeons in Hollywood, the latest treatments, and all the money in the world, so there is no reason for them to be getting too much Botox or freaky facelifts.
Of course, not every celebrity gets discernible plastic surgery procedures that lead to ample discussion online. Some stars, including Lindsay Lohan and Christina Aguilera, appear to be aging in reverse all of a sudden.
These former child stars aging like Benjamin Button have entered what plastic surgeons are calling their 'undetectable era,' when fans are not sure what, exactly, is different. But others have gotten far more noticeable work done.
The Daily Mail spoke to top plastic surgeons from Beverly Hills to London to uncover the possible reasons behind why certain household names are changing their faces in ways that lead to endless speculation and distorted appearances.
The answers are surprising, ranging from accepting free treatments to working with doctors who are too afraid to say no to their A-list clientele.
Top plastic surgeon Dr. Ariel Ostad, based in New York City, told the Daily Mail the 'bad' work can happen when 'the doctor doesn’t establish ethical boundaries of when to say no to patients, knowing that drastic changes can lead to unnatural results.'

The conversation around VIPs suddenly hitting the red carpet with fresh faces is all over the internet, with content creator Devon Kelley asking her TikTok followers, 'Why do so many celebrities get bad plastic surgery or fillers?'
In the recent viral video, Kelley discussed how many of the superstars in question have been famous since they were young, so they are up against unrealistic expectations to maintain a particularly fresh-faced appearance. Some commenters pointed out that former child stars are most at risk of looking unrecognizable and 'tragic' because they are getting facelifts younger and younger.
A 'baby' or 'mini' facelift is a cosmetic procedure that is less invasive than a traditional facelift and is typically done on younger people, and it has been touted as the ultimate way to avoid overdone 'filler face.' The less expensive offering allows superstars to return to filming or the red carpet quickly.
While there has been a massive rise in facelifts for younger people, with doctors on TikTok touting how effective they are, that is not always the case.
Dr. Ostad said there are many alternatives before seeking out the expensive and invasive surgery, although is still an ideal treatment for older people. When a household name suddenly reverses aging but looks eerie, it could be because they opted for a baby facelift a bit too soon.
Another issue can be body dysmorphia, which many Hollywood stars have detailed their struggles with over the years.
'Body dysmorphia is a common condition where some people become fixated on the appearance of their body to where they affect their daily life, constantly staring at themselves in the mirror and are never fully satisfied with their appearance,' Dr. Ostad explained.
When they are never fulfilled, they continue seeking out procedures hoping it will somehow lead to perfection. Instead, it can lead to an overdone appearance.

Dr. Ashwin Soni told Daily Mail 'there has always been a history of some celebrities getting plastic surgery either too young or too drastically for their particular anatomy'
Dr. Ashwin Soni, whose client list is packed with stars, told the Daily Mail 'there has always been a history of some celebrities getting plastic surgery either too young or too drastically for their particular anatomy,' especially since there's pressure to look a certain way in the industry.
Like Dr. Ostad, he agreed that another problem is getting procedures done at an early age, explaining that many of his 'A-lister patients who have previously had surgery have often had these surgeries way younger than necessary.'
'People scrutinize those in the spotlight far too much,' the London-based plastic surgeon added.
Beverly Hills-based facial plastic surgeon Dr. Paul Nassif, who stars on the TV series Botched, said if celebs are 'still healing and they're swollen' and hit the red carpet too early it can lead to a negative reaction from fans on social media because their favorite A-lister does not look quite right.
'It takes a good six weeks to three months for your face to settle,' the NassifMD skincare founder advised.
Choosing the correct surgeon is also of the utmost importance and can often go awry. Board certified plastic surgeon Dr. John Diaz told the Daily Mail that many times, if a star seems to have work done that is not right for them, it is because they picked a doctor 'based on who their friends went to, or who they met at a party, instead of picking the surgeon who shows the best work.'
'The percentage of influencers and celebrities getting surgery is extremely high and they are mostly getting great results,' the Beverly Hills-based plastic surgeon divulged.
The bad work in question can also be caused by the influencer economy, which runs on sponsored content. While many A-listers are super wealthy, it is still difficult for some to turn down a freebie. Dr. Diaz explained that many 'celebrities and influencers go from one doctor to the other based on who will give them a free treatment.'
'It is not uncommon for a VIP to see multiple different plastic surgeons or dermatologists in one year,' Dr. Diaz revealed, which can lead to inconsistent results.
