This Week's story from Todd's book: The Mystical Secrets of Life
I received a newsletter from a spiritual center I had previously attended.
A year or so earlier, their business manager had reneged on a business
agreement we had, and she did so in a very rude manner. I dropped
contact with this center. In their newsletter they said a hurricane had claimed
their roof. They were asking for donations and broke them down as
“bundles of tiles” to replace the roof. Without any hesitancy whatsoever,
I pulled out my checkbook and wrote a check in the amount they requested
and labeled it “One bundle of tiles.” I sent it to the minister who had been very
helpful many years earlier. I wanted her to know that the incident hadn’t closed
my heart. I released it with love and considered it a tithe to the Universe.
Two days later, I received a letter from someone else I had helped years earlier.
Enclosed was a five figure check! The letter said:
“The Universe has charged me with the task of giving you this money.”
What could have been a clearer way of demonstrating that God is my
true source?
