Consider the following examples: - The potato bug’s eggs hatch in 7 days.
- The canary’s eggs hatch in 14 days.
- The barnyard hen’s eggs hatch in 21 days.
- Ducks and geese’s eggs hatch in 28 days.
- The mallard’s eggs hatch in 35 days.
- The parrot and ostrich’s eggs hatch in 42 days.
All of these numbers are divisible by seven— the number of days in a week!
