Well....... he was popular........ and a broker!!!!!! .......but that was not enough........ to stop him killing himself .......why ....why ....why .....we will never know .......but the rich look down on the poor with disdain ......sometimes money is never the answer??????..........
Tragedy as popular Douglas Elliman broker, 56, jumps to his death from luxury NYC apartment building in front of horrified onlookers after counting Oracle billionaire Larry Ellison's daughter as a client
Tom Cooper, 56, (middle) a respected New York City realtor, jumped to his death from his Upper East Side apartment building (left) just before 7.30am on Tuesday in front of shocked onlookers, after reportedly leaving behind a suicide note. The Douglas Elliman agent was selling the $3.7 million unit owned by billionaire Oracle founder Larry Ellison's daughter, filmmaker Meghan Ellison (together right) when he died. Horrified onlookers said they thought the impact was a sack of laundry until they saw the body. The agent had just days earlier posted a photo of himself standing next to a Christmas tree in the lobby of the historic building that houses the apartment and two others he was also selling. Cooper is believed to have jumped from the fourth floor, where he lived in apartment 4A and a window was seen partway open from the street below.
