Actress, mom and author Megan Fox landed one of four covers of the 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue after a beautiful photoshoot in the Dominican Republic. The 37-year-old star traveled to the Caribbean with visual artist Greg Swales for her stunning feature.

While on location with the SI Swimsuit team, Fox opened up about everything from her favorite acting project thus far (Jennifer’s Body) to her very favorite role to date (being a mom to her three boys, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Brian Austin Green).

“Shooting Sports Illustrated Swimsuit is definitely a lot of pressure,” Fox admitted, and added that she manifested the opportunity into reality. “I have a vision in my head that I’m trying to achieve, so we’ll see if it pans out for me.”

Fox, who has also appeared on covers of publications like Allure, Esquire, Cosmopolitan and Elle, donned several stunning bikinis for her magazine feature. Her very favorite looks from the day were a brown leather two-piece swimsuit by Frankies Bikinis and a cropped cherry graphic T-shirt by Agent Provocateur.

“I hope that the photos are beautiful and that the frequency that comes off of them is just a healthy, good girl,” she said of her SI Swimsuit photoshoot. “I hope people take away that I’m a thoughtful, articulate, deep person.”

Hailey Clauson is the definition of an SI Swimsuit stalwart. The model, who made her debut with the brand in 2015 and double-dipped that year for both a beach photoshoot in Kauai, Hawai’i, and a stunning bodypaint feature, has posed for the magazine seven separate years.

Her most recent feature was with James Macari in the Dominican Republic for the 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue. The California native, who was photographed in Turks and Caicos for the cover of the 2016 issue, is using her platform for good. She is the co-owner and creative director of Los Angeles-based boutique modeling agency, Margaux the Agency, and hopes to make the industry more safe, inclusive and sustainable for young women.

“We take our time getting to know every single person we bring on and finding a specific path for their careers. I don’t like to put anybody in a box. I think everybody’s different and is going to go in a different direction. I’ve noticed in the past a lot of agencies have the same formula for everybody, and if it doesn’t work, it doesn’t work. I don’t think that’s a very modern way to manage somebody,” Clauson explained. “Being able to be in the models’ shoes in the first place is super helpful for them. I know what it’s like to be in these positions—going on set and having all of these people stare at you. It’s really intimidating, especially at the beginning. So it’s really helpful to explain step-by-step what it’s going to be like and also give them helpful tools that I wish I had throughout my career.”
