A 22-year-old woman who died in her car in the Buffalo blizzard stayed in contact with her siblings on a family group chat for eight hours before telling them she would try to get some sleep and 'walk in the morning' if she hadn't been rescued.
Anndel Taylor repeatedly reassured her family help was on the way after her vehicle was stranded in snow Friday afternoon on her way home from work.
The student nurse sent videos to the group chat updating them on the amount of snow that was building outside her window, and expressed her frustration at emergency services who left her on hold for extended periods of time.
Ms Taylor's sister Tomeshia shared the final text exchange to TikTok in a touching tribute on Tuesday, linking also to a GoFundMe which is raising money to bring her body home to Charlotte.

'Please keep my girl's name alive and bring her home to Charlotte. She will never be forgotten,' Tomeshia captioned the video.
The one-minute clip has been played 2.9 million times and attracted 25,600 responses.
The first message she sent in the group chat came about 4.15pm on Friday afternoon. It was a video, accompanied by a message which read: 'Stuck in a f***ing blizzard.'
