- As authorities continue to investigate, family and friends are mourning the loss of the couple who worked at Bozeman Health

A Montana couple is dead in an apparent murder-suicide after a 50-year-old former health clinic manager allegedly shot her doctor husband, 53, several times on their driveway before turning the gun on herself - leaving behind three adult children.
The Gallatin County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of gunshots at 6.45pm on October 18 about 10 miles south of Gallatin Gateway in Gallatin Canyon, police said.
Former health clinic manager Kimberli Jones is accused of shooting her husband Doctor Jason Jones who was found at the scene with multiple gunshot wounds.
Police became aware of another body near the Hyalite reservoir, 30 miles from the scene, which was later identified as Kimberli Jones – she was found dead with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
A witness told authorities that she had seen a woman shoot a man several times and drive away in a pickup truck, Sheriff Dan Springer explained at a news conference the following day.
'We will leave this as a murder suicide on the same side we continue to do these investigations so we have as many answers as we can,' said Springer.
'We want to make sure that we can get all the answers that are out there.'
