An Ohio officer beat a black man during a traffic stop. A town wants to know why.
Police said they had perfectly legitimate reasons to pull over Richard Hubbard III as he drove through the Cleveland suburb of Euclid, Ohio, on Saturday morning. Hubbard, a 25-year-old black man, had rolled through an intersection, they said, and a search on the 2011 Hyundai he was driving showed the owner had a suspended license. It was a routine traffic stop. But it quickly escalated into violence.
