I decided to write  a poem for thanksgiving ...through the eyes of  a turkey .......Its a memoir of what i  think a turkey  would be thinking on its last days ........Internationalhippiehippie.com.... is  an equal opportunity offender ....







Every year about this time i ususally  dispense my peom.......i wrote it  because ,i personally think all holidays are pure  bollocks .......

if  you  need a reason .....or a day to be nice ....or civil ....then you are a  brainwashed  and  hypocrite ...and really  a  robot ......

It tells me a  lot about peeople ......every day is a celebration of  life ....love..... its all we  have .....life is fragile  ...and we are  at our  best when we are alive ....not dead .........

Everyday is a celebration ....it  should never  be taken  for granted ......we only seem to  miss and  care for people when they die .......now is the time this day .............

CELEBRATE THE GIFT OF LIVING EVERYDAY !!!!! its all we have ........

Thanksgiving comes but once a year,

in the coop there is the smell of fear .

As we shed some tears in our eyes,

we are all preparing for our good byes.

I know we only have   a year ,

but as i reminisce about the females in here .

since this is my last chance ,

i may as well get some rear.

oh! well what the heck

they will pull out all my feather and wring my neck

It sucks to be a turkey at thanksgiving

The coop is filled with sobbing and sighs ,

we are all saying our last goodbyes.

because we know someone will be eating our thighs,

It sucks to be a turkey at thanksgiving.

It,s a short life  a hell of a fate ,

the thought of ending up .

with cranberries on a plate .

Alas my life has come to pass

i hate the thought

of being crapped out someones ass...........
