death byTexting while driving ..

Here is a  subject that will be a  mixed bag of nuts ....some for  some for against.........i myself have tried it ,its way too dangerous  for me ,i guess i am a  novice...

texting to me is a waste of time, i have and always will hate texting but some people find it  a necessary part of communications....and are really good at it when  they do ...and when they don't drive.........

but here are some info i found that may surprise people.......

Texting While Driving Statistics

• About 6,000 deaths and a half a million injuries are caused by distracted drivers every year.
• While teenagers are texting, they spend about 10 percent of the time outside the driving lane they’re supposed to be in.
• Talking on a cell phone while driving can make a young driver’s reaction time as slow as that of a 70-year-old.
• Answering a text takes away your attention for about five seconds. That is enough time to travel the length of a football field.

I myself did not realize that 5 seconds was that  long...a foot ball field .....

I will say this ....it does not matter to me  if you want to text and drive everyone has the right to do what they do its a free world ....and if you  decide that you want to get  f*****d up because you are trying to send a  message to someone that you could talk to later ......  

 Once you're dead/splattered/smashed/dismembered/killed.....you have gone so you do not need to give  a crap ....

But you leave behind a legacy of pain/hurt sorrow/grief/pain/and probably death upon others...... that you may have caused.......

Or if you  do survive maybe your texting days may be over ....because you do not have the thumbs/limbs/parts /arms ....

It is something to think about the next time you pick up your phone .........
