Man dies after being mauled by tiger when he ‘jumped into enclosure’ in front of crowds at Yorkshire Wildlife Park
A MAN has died after being mauled by a tiger when he reportedly jumped into an enclosure in front of crowds at a UK wildlife park.
Witnesses watched on in horror after the visitor leapt into the Land of the Tigers area at around 1.30pm at Yorkshire Wildlife Park.
Emergency crews swooped on the scene as the park was evacuated this afternoon – with shocked visitors told to leave immediately.
The man was pounced on by at least one big cat, with the tiger involved believed to be called Altai.
