The Academy Award winner Jared Leto has sold his sprawling Los Angeles Air Force compound for $12 million. The timing has raised eyebrows, as the news comes months after Leto denied sexual assault allegations against him.
According to TMZ, the actor-musician sold the 14,649-square-foot property in May. The 54-year-old originally acquired the six-bedroom, five-bathroom mansion in 2015 for $5 million. The sale has given him a significant profit on the historic property.
The 1.4-acre estate carries a colorful history. It served as a U.S. Air Force installation with connections to the country's atomic bomb program. Army training movies and Air Force newsreels used the same structure for filming during the Cold War.
