damn Steve O, You Suck": People Are Calling The "Jackass" Star Racist After His Latest Comments About Illegal Immigrants
You know Steve-O, the infamous veteran of the Jackass franchise, where a bunch of action sports athletes and stunt performers subject themselves to dangerous pranks and gross-out challenges.
Steve-O (real name Stephen Glover) was certainly one of the wildest of the bunch. And after several TV shows, a bunch of movies, and a public struggle with substance abuse, Steve-O has a podcast where he has honest conversations with celebrities — sometimes too honest.
On a Feb. 3 episode of Steve-O's Wild Ride!, Steve-O had a conversation with Canadian actor and comedian Harland Williams that left the internet "truly disgusted and disappointed."

When Harland pressed Steve-O to talk about politics, it became apparent that maybe he should've left the topic alone. The Half Baked star explained why he's not afraid of ICE (being from Canada), and boasted how he got his citizenship. "I don't care if you're from Canada, China, Russia, Mexico, whatever, there's a process, and I did it... If I did it wrong and I got caught, I'd have the balls to go, 'Okay, you got me. I'm going home,'" Harland explained. "But I won't do that to begin with because I respect the boundaries of every country."
Steve-O then asked, "Why is it that so many people who don't have this respect that you have are murderers?" to which Harland asked, "Say that again?"
Steve-O then claimed, "So many of these people who are illegally in America, it's like the majority of them are murderers."

"No, that's a fallacy. That's a huge fallacy," Harland responded.
Then, Steve-O added, "They're bad hombres," referring to President Trump's infamous statement during the 2016 presidential debate about border security.
During a 2016 presidential debate in Las Vegas, Trump notoriously said one of his "first acts" as president would be to "get all the drug lords" out of the country. "We have some bad hombres here, and we're going to get them out."
Harland attempted to use statistics to debunk Steve-O's claim, to which he replied, "Well, okay, fair point. But a great many of them are trafficking fentanyl."
Harland once again attempted to speculate a justification why a person would be involved in the illegal drug trade and challenge Steve-O's claims, while doubling down on why "murder doesn't make sense" as a blanket stereotype. But the damage was done.
