A DISTURBING theory has emerged suggesting why convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein had a dentist’s room on his private island with bizarre masks hanging on the walls.
US authorities have released a cache of 150 never-before-seen pictures of Epstein’s exclusive property in the US Virgin Islands – offering a closer look at his twisted life.
The bombshell images of the convicted sex offender‘s elusive Caribbean lair were released by Democrats on the House Oversight Committee.
It comes just days after Donald Trump signed a bill to force the release of the investigative files on Epstein.
Among the most bizarre are pictures showing a room in Epstein’s sprawling mansion on Little Saint James Island that had a private dentist’s chair and multiple chilling masks hung on the walls.
A former FBI special agent has now claimed that they may have been used by Epstein’s pals to commit sex crimes.
Jennifer Coffindaffer says associates of the disgraced financier may have used the masks to conceal their identities while allegedly carrying out sex crimes against the victims.
The ex-investigator told the Daily Mail: “It is not unusual for those involved in these kinds of sex crimes, especially those involving minors, to wear masks.
“We don’t have any evidence that they were used in crimes.
“But in the context of what went on at that island, I would be looking for a meaning behind them, as well as any similarities to those who may have been involved in criminal behaviour on that island.”
Other pictures showed a chalkboard covered with a cryptic jumble of words.
Handwritten words like political, plots, deception, power, truth and music were seen scribbled.
Some words, like “music,” were underlined while others had lines connecting them, though it’s unclear what any of it meant.
“The words on the chalkboard can give you a glimpse into the mind of Epstein at the time,” Ms Coffindaffer said.
“The words themselves are gibberish, and they show the rambling thoughts of a man writing down the things that are important to him.”
Other eerie images provided a look at rooms devoid of life, no trespassing signs and a luxury swimming pool next to palm trees.
Washington is still waiting for the Department of Justice (DOJ) to hand over all of the Epstein files on the notorious case after Congress voted overwhelmingly to reveal the truth.
The DOJ is now required to release all files and communications related to late financier – known as the Epstein Files – within 30 days.
It is also required to reveal any information about the investigation into Epstein’s death in a federal prison in 2019 – as well as about his madam and accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell.
Attorney General Pam Bondi confirmed that the DOJ intended to abide by those requirements.
She earlier said that the Trump administration will make all of the eligible files on the convicted sex offender public for “maximum transparency”.
What exactly are the Epstein Files?
The Epstein Files refer to the reams of evidence amassed by the Justice Department and FBI during a probe in Florida that led to his 2008 conviction for procuring a minor for prostitution and the investigation that led to his later indictment in New York.
The huge trove of documents has been sealed for years, and the object of frenzied speculation.
Only a sliver of the government material has ever been released publicly.
This includes tens of thousands of pages of evidence from federal investigations into Epstein and his accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell – known as the Epstein files – have been released to the public in stages over several years.
These documents, some released in redacted format, include Epstein’s flight logs, his contact book, email exchanges, court documents, and testimonies from victims and witnesses.
Names of many high-profile figures have appeared in them – but that does not mean they were aware of, or involved in Epstein’s crimes.
The Epstein Files Transparency Act, passed by the House and Senate and now signed by Trump, calls for the release within 30 days of “all unclassified records, documents, communications, and investigative materials” in the possession of the Justice Department, the FBI and US attorneys’ offices related to Epstein and his accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell.
Maxwell, 63, is serving a 20-year prison sentence for recruiting underage girls for Epstein.
She was the only person convicted in connection with the disgraced financier, but Trump’s MAGA supporters have thought for years that “deep state” elites were protecting Epstein associates in the Democratic Party and Hollywood.
The AG still does wield the power to redact the files and remove information that would pose a risk to underage victims or interfere with any ongoing investigation.
However, the DOJ cannot withhold information due to embarrassment, reputational harm, or political sensitivity, says the law.
Epstein pleaded guilty to a Florida state felony prostitution charge in 2008 and served 13 months in jail.
In 2019, he was charged with sex trafficking of minors. Epstein pleaded not guilty to those charges.
The sex offender killed himself in a Manhattan jail while awaiting trial in 2019 on charges he sexually abused and trafficked underage girls.
But his death did nothing but spark more speculation over his connections to high-profile business executives, celebrities and politicians.
His convicted accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell, 63, is serving a 20-year prison sentence for recruiting underage girls for him.
For years now, victims of Epstein and their families – as well as conspiracy theorists – have called for the release of the files.
