Since then, Todd and Julie's children, specifically Savannah, have been outspoken about the case and their feelings about the government.

However, in a new interview, Savannah changed gears to share an update about her parents' relationship.

During a conversation with PEOPLE, the reality star and former pageant queen revealed that her parents haven't been allowed to communicate with each other.

"They don't get to speak," she said before sharing that it's "been two years" since the married couple have "spoken a word to each other."

Todd and Julie have been married just shy of 30 years and, according to their daughter, have "never gone a day in their life without being with one another."

"That's been a challenge," Savannah added before saying situations like this "should never happen."
