Sara Haines walks off “The View” shot after Whoopi Goldberg reveals 'I like to be eaten from time to time' on 69th birthday
Goldberg's birthday episode also included the return of the Wind Machine of Chaos and her face on a giant wheel of cheese.
Whoopi Goldberg made an important reveal on The View while standing in front of a titanic wheel of cheese with her face on it.
The Oscar-winning actress appropriately celebrated her 69th birthday Wednesday on the long-running talk show by revealing that she enjoys experiencing super specific oral pleasures — prompting cohost Sara Haines to jokingly walk off the set (which you can see in the video above).
"I always wanted my face on cheese," Haines said during a segment of the show that saw Goldberg cycling through a list of her favorite products in honor of her special day.
"I like to be eaten from time to time," Goldberg responded, as Haines walked off in feigned shock over her colleague's admission.
The studio audience laughed and applauded, while Haines returned and embraced Goldberg.
"Nevermind," Goldberg continued. "This is a wheel of authentic Parmigiano Reggiano from Italy, and this has been aged for 24 months and it's a testament to Italian tradition and quality."

Elsewhere on her birthday episode, Goldberg again locked herself into a wind machine to select a prize-winning member of the audience to share in her celebratory day.
The View airs weekdays at 11 a.m. ET/10 a.m. PT on ABC. Watch Goldberg reveal that she likes "to be eaten" in the clip above.
