The 'brutal' cosmetic procedure more women are getting that make them 'like a virgin again'
- Labiaplasty surgery is currently gaining popularity and visibility
- Stars like Jenn Harley and Jessi Ngatikaura have had vaginal procedures done

As duck lips and Brazilian butt lifts continue to lose popularity, there's one wild procedure that's surprisingly gaining traction among women.
Vaginal tightening has been around for years, with celebrities like Brandi Glanville and Jada Pinkett Smith getting work done down under, and requests for designer vaginas are only continuing to grow.
According to the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), in 2022 there were 194,086 labiaplasty procedures. That's an increase of 46 per cent from the previous four years.
Former Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star Jenn Harley recently opened up to DailyMail.com about her vaginal rejuvenation experience.
The mom-of-three, 36, turned to Texas-based physician Dr. Aimee Nguyen to remodel her lady parts with a laser procedure following the birth of her third child last year.
Vaginal tightening and labiaplasty surgeries are gaining more popularity thanks to stars like Jessi Ngatikaura (pictured), whose surgery was featured on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives
'I'm single right now so I'm not having any more babies, this is the last one for me,' she explained.
'Having babies, your vagina canal opens, so what Dr. Nguyen does, she sews it back together, so it's basically like being a virgin again!'
Jenn, who is best known for her relationship with Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, said that the recovery process left her 'a little sore,' but said it wasn't much different to recovering from childbirth.
'I just wanted to get it back into its original condition and save it for somebody special,' the realtor, who also had liposuction on her arms, said.
While Jenn opted for laser tightening, Jessi Ngatikaura from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives went one step further by getting a labiaplasty - and documenting the entire process on her hit Hulu series.
Labiaplasty is a surgical procedure to reduce the size of the labia minora – the flaps of skin either side of the vaginal opening.
It involves cutting away unwanted tissue with a scalpel of laser in procedure that takes about one to two hours.

Mom-of-two Jessi, 32, said that childbirth had changed her vagina and left her unable to wear yoga pants, which drew her to the surgery.
'My meat curtains, they just hang low,' she told her stunned co-stars on episode six of the controversial series.
'I've noticed a big difference down there, to the point where it's uncomfortable,' she continued.
'So they're basically cutting off that extra meat and making it so my lips are just nice and perfect again.'
Discussing the results with her castmates, Jessi revealed that she couldn't have sex for 'four to six weeks' while she recovered from the painful procedure.
Sharing the 'brutal' recovery period, Jessi said, 'I felt like I had a blowtorch up there!'
However, she later described her post-op vagina as 'perfect' and told DailyMail.com that she had 'no regrets' about going under the knife.

Other celebrities to undergo vaginal procedures include Sonja Morgan and Cynthia Bailey from the Real Housewives franchise, Teen Mom's Farrah Abraham and Briana DeJesus, British reality star Gemma Collins, and according to Khloe Kardashian, her sisters Kourtney and Kim.
Jada Pinkett-Smith has even had vaginal rejuvenation procedures three times and credited it for restoring the youthful appearance of her 'peach.'
'When I tell you my yoni is like a 16-year-old, I’m not kidding,' she said in a 2018 episode of The Red Table Talk.
'I’m talking about the outside. It looks like a little beautiful peach.'
Speaking to DailyMail.com, board-certified plastic surgeon Dr Deepak Dugar, from the Beverly Hills Rhinoplasty Center, said that some pain and bleeding was common during the recovery process.
'Typically, you have one week where you might have some pain and some spotting and bleeding, then it's about four to six weeks until the general swelling is gone and you can resume most major physical exercise and activity, including sexual activity,' he said.

Dr Dugar said that most women seeking a labiaplasty were moms who had seen their vaginas change after childbirth.
'The biggest changes that happen in the labia usually occur hormonally through puberty, or they happen post pregnancy when there is stretching and tearing,' he explained.
'And so there is a significant thought that these type of procedures usually should be done postpartum and saved until postpartum because of the fact that there could be more changes that happen after having children with vaginal delivery.'
And when it comes to getting the vulva of your dreams, Dr Dugar said that there was a certain level of customization that patients could request.
'I think there's definitely customization and different ways that people approach labiaplasty,' he explained.
'There's a trim procedure. There's a wedge procedure. So there's different types of labiaplasty that are performed and discussing it with a board-certified plastic surgeon is the key for them to show you examples of work that is very similar to yours.
'Obviously, labiaplasty being very personal and private, there won't be much public information on it, so I think going to a surgeon who does a lot of these and letting them guide you with before and after photos so that you can understand what the differences are and where you could hit your goals is key.'
Despite the procedure's popularity, not everybody is a fan.
Body image educator and activist Ellie Sedgwick recently told DailyMail.com that glamorising labiaplasties could send the wrong message to young girls.
'From doing the research I've done, working with sexologists, I know that that part of the inner labia that everyone's getting cut off is filled with nerve endings. They say there's more than 8,000 to 10,000 nerve endings in there,' Sedgwick said.
'So what concerns me is that people are gonna go have this surgery because they saw something on TV, and they're going to cut off this beautiful pleasure tool just to fit society's idea of beauty and to meet these beauty standards that aren't realistic.'
