Horror moment Russian hypersonic missile hits Kyiv children’s hospital in ‘genocidal’ blitz as 33 killed across Ukraine
THIS is the horrific moment a Russian hypersonic missile struck a children’s hospital in Kyiv in a “genocidal” attack by evil Vladimir Putin.
Disturbing video shows the rocket hurling through the sky, with at least 33 people killed across Ukraine during a devastating wave of Russian strikes today.
The horrific footage captures a high-speed Russian KH-101 hypersonic rocket, one of the many cruise, ballistic, aerial and guided missiles launched by Putin’s ruthless forces today.
Officials have confirmed at least 22 deaths so far in Kyiv.
One of the hospital victims was named as Svitlana Lukyanchik, 30, a paediatric kidney doctor.
Kyiv’s mayor Vitali Klitschko said at least 16 people were injured including, seven children.

More than 33 have died across the country and 150 have been injured, according to the latest official figures.
President Volodymyr Zelensky said Russia hit five cities in a "genocidal" attack.
He demanded Moscow answer "for all its crimes" against people, children and humanity.
His chief of staff, Andriy Yermak, accused Russia of "deliberately targeting" children.
Yermak raged: "They hit the children's hospital. There are children. It is a terror that the world must see and respond to. This is genocide.”
Mother Marina Ploskonos said her 4-year-old son was recovering from spinal surgery when the missiles struck.
Bursting into tears, she said: “My child is terrified. This shouldn't be happening, it's a children's hospital.”
Kids with cancer were forced to pause chemotherapy treatment as medics evacuated the hospital’s oncology ward.
Ukraine’s health minister said at least three sick children mid-way though open-heart surgeries when the missiles struck.
One doctor said he leapt on to his patient to protect them from flying glass and debris.
Another seven people were killed in a strike on the Isida IVF clinic in the city.
The UN aid chief for Ukraine condemned the strikes as “unconscionable”.
Other strikes hi Dnipro, Kriviy Rig and Kramatorsk.
Ex-British fighter Shaun Pinner said: “Russia is going for maximum terror.
“They are hitting civilian infrastructure in broad day light and in rush hour. They are trying to kill more people.”
Ukraine’s air force said it downed 30 out of 38 missiles launched by Russia in today’s blitz.
Cities including Dnipro, Krivoy, Slovyansk and Kramatorsk were hit.
Sir Keir Starmer slammed the attack on children as "the most depraved of actions".
Speaking ahead of a Nato summit where he is due to meet President Zelensky in Washington, the PM said: "We stand with Ukraine against Russian aggression - our support won’t falter."
The UN condemned the wave of deadly Russian strikes across Ukraine, saying "dozens of people have been killed and injured".
Heartbreaking pictures showed the site of Okhmatdyt Children's Hospital - with emergency responders working to rescue victims.
Officials in the besieged capital said at least a further nine people have been injured so far - but work at the scene continues.
Horrific pictures showed children wounded in the attack, with one wheeled into an ambulance on a stretcher as he sobbed.
Another chilling photograph shows a toddler covered in blood at a hospital.
A group of young cancer patients gathered with their parents and doctors, attached to drips as they watched on in horror.
Zelensky wrote on social media: "There are people under the rubble, and the exact number of casualties is still unknown.
"Right now, everyone is helping to clear the rubble - doctors and ordinary people."
The attack comes ahead of a Nato summit beginning tomorrow in Washington DC - where Zelensky's allies are set to discuss the war in Ukraine.
At a press conference today the President said: "I would also like to hear from our partners (about) a greater resilience and a strong response to the blow that Russia has once again dealt to our people, to our land, to our children."
He vowed to hit back and said: "We will retaliate against these people, we will deliver a powerful response from our side to Russia, for sure.
"The question to our partners is: can they respond?"
The Okhmatdyt Hospital is known in Europe for its excellent medical care and is the largest children's hospital in Ukraine.
Cancer patients are treated at the hospital - its toxicology and oncology departments were damaged in the hit.
One haunting clip shows a residential building in the Shevchenkovsky district of Kyiv hit in the waves of Russian strikes - where people, including children, are buried beneath the rubble.
A man says: “Friends, this is a residential building. It's on fire, people are screaming.
“This is what Russian ******** are doing, that's how they are fighting.

"That's how they are fighting Ukrainian people. It's the first time I see something like this.
“Look, people are screaming, there are attempts to save them. But, look, the whole staircase collapsed here.”
