It comes as no surprise to me!!!! ....this article .....it is how they fight in Scotland....machetes swords ....anything sharp ....it is the knife culture ......i am not surprised and probably not many scots are either ........if he survives ....that will be his 'trophy' ......

A teenager was left fighting for his life after being involved in an armed gang fight, police have said. The 18-year-old suffered 'life-changing injuries' in the 'melee', which officers say involved 'knives and machetes'.
Up to six men were involved in the brawl, officers have said. The stricken youngster was found by police after they were called to the scene.
He was found with an injury to his arm and is now in a critical condition in hospital. Another 18-year-old, and a 49-year-old man, were arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder.
