Driver with Adult Bull in Passenger Seat Pulled Over by Nebraska Police: ‘Some Citable Issues’
Lee Meyer was taking his bull Howdy Doody for a ride when police performed a routine traffic stop: "You’re not going to run across that every day," Police Captain Chad Reiman tells PEOPLE

A Nebraska man was pulled over by police Wednesday for driving with the biggest front-seat passenger imaginable: a fully-grown Watusi bull.
Norfolk Police Division responded to a call about a bull riding shotgun with the man on 275 eastbound at around 10:00 a.m., according to News Channel Nebraska.
The man — identified as Lee Meyer of Neligh — was driving with a bull named Howdy Doody, per the outlet. Authorities performed a routine traffic stop and saw a yellow barrier on the side of the car to keep the bull inside.
“The officers received a call referencing a car driving into town that had a cow in it,” Police Captain Chad Reiman told the outlet. “They thought that it was going to be a calf, something small or something that would actually fit inside the vehicle.”
“As a result, the officer performed a traffic stop and addressed some traffic violations that were occurring with that particular situation,” Reiman added.

“The officer wrote him some warnings,” Reiman continued. “There were some citable issues with that situation. The officer chose to write him a warning and ask him to take the animal back home and leave the city.”

“I don’t know why he was doing it that day,” Reiman exclusively tells PEOPLE. “I asked him what kind of animal it was, where he lived, how far he came from, and those types of things. I talked to him about the violations that were occurring and that was pretty much the extent of our conversation."
"I can honestly say that I haven’t seen anything like that before,” he adds. “It was different, for sure. You’re not going to run across that every day.”
Meyer made headlines in 2019 when he drove Howdy Doody down a parade route in town, according to a Facebook post by Antelope County News. Video of Meyer’s float — number 53 and with a license plate titled “Boy & Dog” — was captured by the outlet.
“FAN FAVORITE: The kids went wild when Lee Meyer of Neligh drove his watusi named "Howdy Doody" on the parade route!” the outlet captioned the post.
The "A Boy and His Dog" float won first place at the Kolach Days Parade in Verdigre back in 2017, Norfolk Daily News reported, adding that the video quickly went viral with over 2 million views.
According to the outlet, locals said of Meyer and the bull, “Only in Verdigre.”
The Norfolk Nebraska Police Division did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

‘You Got What You Wanted’: Outraged Hawaii Resident Blames Oprah Winfrey for Maui Wildfires Amid Reports About Her Growing Popularity on Social Media
Oprah Winfrey has received mixed reviews in regards to her buying acres of land in Maui and her response to the Maui wildfires that began on Aug. 8.
Residents blame Oprah Winfrey for the Maui wildfires following backlash for buying acres of land months ago and reports about her growing social media presence. (Photos: @oprah/Instagram)
The media mogul, who has purchased more than 2,000 acres of land in the tourist destination, showed up to provide aid to those who were without food and shelter during the deadly four-day fire that burned down homes, businesses, and land.
But now she and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos are being blamed for the aftermath residents have had to endure.
A video clip from a Maui County Council meeting last Tuesday, Aug. 22, has now gone viral after a woman known as “Auntie” complained about the lack of urgency to put the fires out.
“Nobody called us! Our phones didn’t work from 5 in the morning. The fire was not until 10 o’clock when I went to work,” she stated, noting that there was no water for hours and no warning from the government.
The woman also doesn’t believe it’s a coincidence that the “satellite city” has been destroyed — possibly driving down the value for others to purchase the land.
“Everybody talking about the satellite city before the fire. Lahaina gonna be the first satellite city!” the resident says before taking aim at the two billionaires. “Well, hey, Jeff Bezos, you got what you wanted, Oprah, you got what you wanted … f—k us over!”
She continued, “That’s what happened. We need help in Lahaina. Whose gonna come now and ask us can I pray for you?”
The woman added that residents received nothing but a $700 check, but they have “no clue who to call or anything. It’s culturally insensitive in that zone.”
Thousands are still left in the crosshairs of the mayhem that claimed the lives of over 115 people. According to the Lahaina news outlet KITV 4, over 2,170 acres of land are estimated to have burned, and over 350 individuals have been unaccounted for. Meanwhile, there are 4,725 people spread between 19 hotel shelter locations.
Aside from the backlash, Winfrey has received some growth on social media after gaining almost 110,000 new followers between Instagram and TikTok.
However, two conspiracy theories have circulated online, fueling the boost in her followers.
One conspiracy implies the former talk show host has only been helping the locals for “publicity” after bringing a camera crew to a shelter in Maui, who were told to wait “outside.”
Another theory alleges Winfrey is somehow connected to the start of the fires — noting that her properties were not burned in the blazes.
X user Matt Wallace has fueled the latter theory, implying that she might have started the fire.
“Oprah Winfrey Has Been Buying Up Land in Maui Like Crazy,” Wallace posted, along with a breakdown of how much land she has bought in total.
‘IN THE LAST FEW YEARS SHE HAS GONE FROM ABOUT 100 ACRES OF LAND IN MAUI TO OVER 1000 ACRES! Then All of A Sudden Out of Nowhere A Fire Comes And Destroys Many Homes Near Her But Her Land Remains Untouched!”
Wallace then mentioned another deadly fire that destroyed homes near Oprah’s flood-ravaged mansion in Montecito in 2017.
“BUT HER PROPERTY REMAINED UNTOUCHED!!!!!” he shared, adding that she continued expanding the land to over 70 acres despite damage from mudslides just weeks later.
He also posted that the government is trying to hide information regarding Winfrey’s connection to the burning.
Despite the chatter and posts like this, Winfrey’s Instagram leaped up 92,000 and her TikTok shot up 20,000 over the last 30 days, Newsweek reports. She did, however, during the same time lose over 60,000 followers on her X account.
Let me tell you........ it was a scam for the start ........ the people that started it....... took money ........ embezzled from it........ while all the fucking idiots ........gave it ....because that is what fucking stupid bastards do ........ give money to these gutless organizational what ever......... you call them ........they are basically for the sheep minded ......... herd mentality ......if you had a gram of nuts ..........which they do not ......cowardly riots trouble makers ...... you would not need this parasitical movement ........should be gone hopefully ...funded and based on hatred for embezzlement
Is the #me too movement really over ..........
victims based on powerplay and control. These attackers have been assaulting people – more specifically, women, who they have been abusing and harassing.
After taking all the abuse, years later, the #MeToo Movement came into existence. This movement shed light on these attackers and exposed how these “powerful” vultures misuse their power. It quickly became a global phenomenon as many women all across the world came out with their own stories of harassment.
But has it helped? Is the movement over? Let’s get into these questions.
How Did It Start?
The term first started floating around back in 2006 by Tarana Burke. Burke was an African-American activist who was a victim of abuse and thus started the most relevant movement of today. However, it was only eleven years later in 2017, when #MeToo became globally recognize when more and more women throughout the globe started to share their stories of abuse. Initially, the movement was based on the Hollywood film industry, but thanks to social media, women in different professions have also been voicing their harassment stories.
The Impact of #MeToo
MeToo has been going around in every country of every world, be it the film industry or any other. This movement exposed those heinous abusers who had been misusing their power since the beginning of time. Harvey Weinstein, for example, or should we say the face of the MeToo Movement, was finally arrested as a result. Many victims came forward and told their stories of how Weinstein abused them in the promise of getting them work. Approximately eighty women reported sexual abuse, spanning over thirty years from 1985 to 2015. In light of the MeToo movement, these women found power and connections as they formed a global sisterhood of sorts.

Is The #MeToo Movement Over?
Many would think that since the movement has been such a relevant and poignant driving force behind predators finally putting their sinister desires to rest, the amount of harassment might have decreased all over. However, that isn’t really the case, as hunters never stop preying. Four years have passed since #MeToo, yet new stories of harassment and new victims come forward daily. The hashtag hasn’t been put to rest, as much as we would want it to. Not that MeToo should be over, as we should always call out predators for their sick perversions. But when will the time come when nobody has to go through any sort of abuse?
Final Thoughts
The MeToo Movement helped many people (mostly women) after years of being objectified, treated as ornaments, forced into doing things they didn’t want to, and finally, harassed like they aren’t humans. The movement has definitely led to abusers laying low as social media has been a massive tool in bringing these harasses out in the light – putting an end to their torture. However, we pray and hope that we’re able to live in a world where the powerful don’t misuse their status and any heinous crime committed doesn’t go unpunished.
Well as we a ll know america is not the smartest country in the world ......statistical fact ....it is approx. ........32nd in education ......and korea ........well they are fucking smart bastards .......so the proof of the pudding is in the eating .........korea ......USA .........go figure ....you really should not have to........ at all on any level .....most Americans ....... are not that fucking bright .it is a given fact most cannot spell governmental or aluminium .......thats is the sauce right there or say worcestershire sauc..........unless you went to Princeton......... or have connected family........... or some education shit ........................and korea it has trict education unlike america they do nto go to school with uniforms .......... and have nor real system .....to determine structure .........and the teachers are getting worse ........and they are very liberal ......etc......etc......
Identical Twins Raised in 2 Different Countries Have Massive IQ Difference
Originally Published on familyandpets.com and repurposed with permissions
For many years, experts have debated whether intelligence is largely influenced by genetics or by the environment. This complex debate centers on the influence of nature (genetics) and nurture (environment) on human intelligence.

Both elements have been shown to play vital roles in shaping intelligence, and recent studies continue to shed light on their respective impacts.
A Tale of Two Continents
A particularly compelling study examines separated identical twins; one raised in the United States, and one raised in Korea. Despite having identical genetic profiles, these twins, exposed to distinctly different environments, demonstrated significant variations in IQ.

Specifically, the twin raised in the U.S., surrounded by ample educational opportunities, scored an IQ of 140. Conversely, the twin in Korea, who faced economic challenges and had limited educational resources, had an IQ score of 90.
The Power of Genes
Twin studies have consistently been instrumental in the exploration of genetic influences on intelligence. Identical twins share all their genes, as opposed to fraternal twins who share around 50%.

Consequently, identical twins often exhibit more similar IQ scores than fraternal ones. However, it’s important to note that no single “intelligence gene” exists. Instead, numerous genes interact, and their expressions can be affected by environmental factors.
The Role of the Environment
Environmental elements also profoundly influence IQ. As an illustration, children who attend school regularly perform better in IQ tests. Additionally, longer breastfeeding durations have been linked to slightly higher IQs in some studies.

Notably, research also indicates that first-born children tend to outscore their younger siblings in IQ tests, possibly due to the focused attention they receive from parents during their early years.
In Search of Answers
In conclusion, while genetics undoubtedly plays a role in determining intelligence, environmental factors are equally significant. The intriguing case of the separated identical twins serves as a testament to the crucial influence of upbringing and environment on intelligence.

As studies progress, understanding the interrelation of genetics and environment remains pivotal to deciphering the intricacies of human intelligence.
IN a bright pink blouse, matching lipstick and false eyelashes, Sadaf Farzan defiantly clutched her “No Taliban” banner in Parliament Square.
Her voice filled with steely resolve, she told me: “I wore full make-up and the brightest clothes today because the Taliban have banned beauty parlours in Afghanistan.”

The war-ravaged land Sadaf fled in 2012 has lapsed back into a barbarous Dark Age since theIslamist fanaticsseized power two years ago.
Gay men and adulterers have been publicly flogged, while “immoral” musical instruments have been burnt on bonfires.
Some Afghans are resorting to desperate measures, as Veterans’ Affairs ministerJohnny Mercertold The Sun on Sunday yesterday.
He revealed an Afghan man had written to him with a picture of his daughter, saying he was going to sell her that day if the minister didn’t get him out ofAfghanistan.
Mr Mercer added: “And I’m sat there with my own three daughters having lunch. It’s horrific, and it remains a human catastrophe, what has happened in that country.”
As well as parents selling their children, other harrowing reports have emerged of desperate Afghans offering their organs for cash to feed theirstarving families.
Meanwhile millions of the nation’s women and girls have been plunged into a netherworld, kept as virtual prisoners in their own homes.
Women were also barred from parks, gyms, swimming pools and public baths.
Mum-of-two Sadaf added: “I’m so grateful to be living in the UK with the freedoms it has. When I speak to women back in Afghanistan they are in tears for their future. It’s devastating.
“But I fear the world has forgotten the women of Afghanistan.”
Sadaf and around 60 other women and children from the UK’s Afghan community demonstrated outsideParliamentthis month on the second anniversary of the Taliban takeover.
Placards at the demo, organised by the London-based Afghanistan And Central Asian Association, were proudly held aloft reading “For Afghan girls” and “Free Afghanistan”.
One UK-based Afghan-born mum in her 30s told me: “Life for Afghan women now is like being in prison — they can’t work, they can’t study.
“They can’t leave the country, they spend most of their time at home.
“It’s like being a hostage. They’ve even closed the beauty parlours.”
The mum — who declined to be named because her female relatives have been targeted by the Taliban — added: “Weeping women in Afghanistan call me and say, ‘Please help us, we have no rights’.”
Some 3,500 miles away, amid tight security, preeningTaliban fighterstoured the streets ofKabulwaving white and black flags from their pick-up trucks.
Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said: “Now that overall security is ensured in the country, an Islamic system is in place and everything is explained from the angle of Sharia [law].”

Desperate locals had clung to the fuselage of departing aircraft in scenes that shocked the world.
The last US military planes left Kabul airport at 11.59pm on August 30, with the remaining civilians left at the fundamentalists’ mercy.
Two decades of Western-backed rule — in which women had enjoyed rights and freedoms — were over.
A land which had cost Britain so much in blood was now in the hands of an often ill-educated rabble of religious zealots.
That August, the Taliban, perhaps mindful of the sanctions it is under and its £2.75billion in frozen foreign reserves, presented a more liberal view of how it would treat women than many expected.
Mujahid trumpeted: “We are going to allow women to work and study . . . women are going to be very active, but within the framework of Islam.”
Unlike their stint in power in the 1990s,the Talibangave the impression of a more moderate administration.
Their claims have proved to be weasel words.
Women have been banned from university and secondary schools.
TheUnited Nationssays around 80 per cent of girls and young women of school age are not in education.
And women have been banned from working for many professions, charities and the UN.
Then, this summer, beauty salons were closed, leading to the loss of an estimated 60,000 jobs.
Weasel words
One 27-year-old told theBBC: “For us, salons are more than places to do your make-up. It helped us hide our sorrows. It gave us energy and hope.”
This week the Taliban claimed the reason for the gym, pool and park ban on women was that they had not been covering their faces.
Molvi Akif, the spokesman for the Taliban’s Ministry of Vice And Virtue, said: “It is very bad to see women (without the hijab) in some areas, and our scholars also agree that women’s faces should be hidden.
"A woman has her own value, and that value decreases by men looking at her.”
Also at theLondondemo was Shabnam Nasimi, whose family fled Afghanistan in 1999.
The former UK government policy adviser on Afghanistan said: “When the Taliban returned in 2021, extended family members and friends told me it felt like a nightmare.
“It felt like the entire country was experiencing a funeral.
"Women had to go through their closets to find old burkas they hadn’t worn in years just so they could leave the house.”
Earlier this year, the Taliban banned the sale of contraceptive pills in chemists in Kabul and the northern city of Mazar-i-Sharif.
The fundamentalists claim the Pill’s use is a Western conspiracy to control the Muslim population.
One chemist shop owner in Kabul said: “They came to my store twice with guns and threatened me not to keep contraceptive pills for sale.”
And a Taliban commander told one midwife: “You are not allowed to go outside and promote the Western concept of controlling the population, and this is unnecessary work.”
Chopped off hands
Shabnam, who runs the Conservative Friends Of Afghanistan campaign group, said: “The Taliban’s control not only over women’s human rights to work and study, but now also over their bodies, is outrageous.”
The Taliban boast of improving security, yet it has been achieved by a brutal “justice” system featuringpublic floggings, stonings and executions.
Some recent floggings were meted out for adultery, homosexuality and “running away from home”.
Other “offences” for which the accused were whipped included drinking alcohol, fraud, theft and drug trafficking. In the six months to May, the UN says 274 men, 58 women and two boys were publicly lashed.
In October 2021, a woman was publicly lashed 100 times after being convicted of adultery.
In January, the Taliban chopped off the hands of four alleged thieves in front of a large crowd at aKandaharfootball stadium.
Another nine men were flogged after being accused of “sodomy”.
A Taliban official said “cutting off hands is very necessary for security”, citing its “deterrent effect”.
The Taliban also claim that music “causes moral corruption”.
Last month AK47-toting Taliban fighters gathered around a bonfire in Herat Province as musical equipment worth thousands of pounds was burned.
Afghanistan National Institute of Music founder Ahmad Sarmast called the actions “cultural genocide and musical vandalism”.
And all while 15million Afghans from a population of 40million are in danger of starvation, and their nation is once again a crucible for terrorism.
'Cultural genocide'
A June UN report revealed that “promises made by the Taliban in August 2021 to be more inclusive, break with terrorist groups . . . and not pose a security threat to other countries seem increasingly hollow, if not plain false, in 2023.”
Indeed, 20 terrorist groups are operating in Afghanistan, says the report, adding that they have greater freedom of manoeuvre under the new Taliban regime while their link toal-Qaeda“remains strong”.
Little wonder then that Tory MPTobias Ellwoodapologised for posting a video last month in which he praised the Taliban for bringing “stability” to Afghanistan.
The chair of the Commons Defence Select Committee, who recently visited the country, said he saw “an eerie calm and a visible change in security, corruption and opium growth”.
After his apology, he warned that, without international intervention, the Afghan economy will soon collapse, “turning this country into a failed state, with terrorist camps no doubt returning and triggering mass migration”.
Today Afghanistan is a global pariah. Not one other nation recognises the Taliban as the legitimate Afghan government.
The women and children of Britain’s Afghan community demonstrating at Westminster believe the world has forgotten their kinfolk.
