‘Meghan killed me – now she mourns me’, says estranged dad Thomas Markle as bombshell TV interview airs
THOMAS Markle has told how Meghan "killed me and then she mourned me" in a bombshell new documentary.
Meghan, 41, and her dad's relationship has been strained since she married into the Royal Family in 2018.
But Thomas, 78, has reached out to his daughter in a new documentary and revealed he is desperate to meet his grandchildren, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Speaking to 7NEWS Spotlight, he said Meghan "killed me and then mourned me".
Thomas added: "I refuse to be buried by her."
He also asked "is it worth getting rid of her father?" as he issued a plea for reconciliation after he suffered a stroke last May.
Thomas said: "I wish that we could sit down and talk. I wish we could work out our differences."
Urging his son-in-law to help mend the torn relationship, he continued: "I think Harry should take the lead here and try and put us together some way. I think he could help."
Meghan hasn't spoken to her estranged dad, sister Samantha or brother Thomas Jr since she married Prince Harry in 2018.
The trio have all sat down together for the explosive documentary, which will air tonight.

Flanked by Meghan's half-siblings, Thomas said he wants to make amends before it is "too late".
He added: "She loved me. I’m her hero. And suddenly I was thrown out."
The retired Hollywood lighting director was rushed to hospital after suffering a massive stroke at his home in Mexico last year.
Thomas said he is still hurt by Meghan not coming to see him afterwards, asking: "If that doesn't move her, what would?"
He also opened up on why he leaked a five-page letter from his daughter to the press in 2018.
The 1,250-word note was at the centre of a High Court privacy row that saw Meghan reveal she refused advice from the Palace to visit her dad.
In court documents, she also accused the Royals of putting "pressure" on her and Harry and said she sent the letter to her father after reaching "breaking point".
Thomas claims the letter had been "approved" by the Queen but said the late monarch never actually saw it.
He said: "The Queen never read this letter because…it was a horrible letter. Very insulting and cruel."
The estranged dad also said there was more in the letter he chose not to release because it was "so hateful and cruel".
He added: "The other things in that letter are so hateful and so cruel, that I wouldn't put it out. That's to protect her."
Meghan's outspoken sister Samantha also appears in the documentary as she branded the duchess "toxic".
When asked whether she would be open to speaking to Meghan, Samantha fires back: "I don’t think she would do it without a motive.
"I don’t think she’s capable of empathy, remorse, or shame. I don’t think she could feel enough to apologise."
Defiant Samantha also vowed to only stop talking about her half-sister if there was "some guarantee that the paid PR machine wasn’t going to be talking about us.”
And she lashed out once again at Harry and Meghan's relationship - claiming there was "something missing in their eyes" at the wedding.
Samantha added: "She would still be a waitress if it wasn't for dad".
The documentary comes less than a week before Harry jets to the UK for his father's coronation.
Meghan will remain at their £14million mansion in Montecito, California, for Archie’s fourth birthday.
