I am not sure about the rest of you ......but this comes as no surprise to me........
You know showbiz .....drugs ...the whole thing ......i mean heroin ...goergy porgy was known for drugs .....surprise !!!!!!.....i mean showbiz has its evil way of taking away genuis .....for example prince ......etc....etc....etc.....it comes with the sad territory of fame ...fortune .....and money .....and when the lights go down .....well the rest i am sure you know ....if you dont ....just look at who has succumb to the world of drugs ......
Sadly we have lost another iconic musical genuis ......and i am sure the train has no plans of stopping ......this year has been epic we have lost some amazing legends ....lenny....david....prince.....george but to mention a few .....
But heroin does not discrimate unlike human beings .....it does not have that luxury .....as we do .....drugs have no mind ....no empathy....no feeling ....no thought ....its not a living thing,........yet the power it has over ones morality ....soul and total being ....is overwhelming ......and people succumb to its power ......it seems to replace ...normality ....life ....love ....care....understanding .....and renders human beings helpless .....only to make them pay with their life .....when it has no life itself .........
Well we have to lay another amazing talented human being to rest ......goerge michael lit up the eighties ......and brought some fatastic music to us all .....a very talented musician ...but as smart and powerful musically ....he was .....he succumbed to the powerful drugs.....
George Michael battled heroin addiction prior to his death, report says
George Michael had been struggling with heroin addiction prior to his sudden death, according to a new report Tuesday.
The Telegraph, citing an anonymous source, said Michael had been rushed to a hospital after overdosing in the year prior to his death.
“He's been rushed to (the emergency room) on several occasions," the source told the paper. "He used heroin. I think it’s amazing he’s lasted as long as he has.”
Meanwhile, speculation surged about who will inherit Michael’s estate, which the Sunday Times valued at $130 million.
Michael, 53, is survived by two sisters, Melanie and Yioda. He was godfather to the two children of pop star Shirlie Holliman and actor Martin Kemp.
Both kids, Roman and Harley Moon Kemp, tweeted about Michael’s death.
“Such a kind, special man who has played such a huge part in our family history and shared with us nothing but love. We are all very sad,” Harley Moon tweeted.
The Mirror speculated that the daughter of former Spice Girl Geri Haliwell might also inherit some of Michael’s fortune. Haliwell and Michael were close.

Michael’s family asked that attention be devoted to his music — not the rumors surrounding his death or fortune.
His family and close friends have been “touched beyond words” by the outpouring of affection for him, a statement released by Michael’s publicist read.
“There could be no more fitting tribute than the many, many, kind words that have been said and the numerous plays his records have received,” the statement read.
“From the bottom of our hearts we thank those who, rightly, have chosen to celebrate his life and legacy at this most distressing of times.”

Michael’s manager previously said the British pop star died of heart failure.
The man who discovered the “Faith” singer’s body, Fadi Fawaz, shared new details about the devastating moment.
Fawaz, a celebrity hair stylist, revealed that Michael died alone at home in Goring, England.
“We were supposed to be going for Christmas lunch. I went round there to wake him up and he was just gone, lying peacefully in bed. We don't know what happened yet,” Fawaz told The Telegraph.
"Everything had been very complicated recently, but George was looking forward to Christmas, and so was I.”
Fawaz’s comments clarified his previous tweet, which indicated he had been sleeping beside the singer when he died.
The hair stylist — who had long been associated with Michael, though their relationship was kept private — was heartbroken.
“Everything is ruined. I want people to remember him the way he was — he was a beautiful person,” Fawaz said.
